Lubbock Cruz Azul SC 02

The Cruz Azul 03 were at it again this weekend up in Hobbs, New Mexico.. We worked hard all week tweeking our game from the week before and it showed early in the tournament, we played game#1 on Saturday before getting rained out, winning that game 10-0.. We came back on Sunday to continue the tournament, played to a 1-1 tie in our first game vs HSC Premier Blue, struggled a bit in this game before putting it together in our next game winning 10-0 again. Next we played our Semi-final and won again 10-0. Hoping to face Lubbock United in the Finals did not happen after they slipped in their Semi-final vs HSC Premier Blue 5-3… We played and beat HSC this time in the finals 4-1… Great Job ladies… Great Weekend, had alot of fun and the girls our figureing it out…

The Cruz Azul 03 girls particiapted in the 3v3 tournament and finished 2nd Place. Not bad for our first 3v3 with a new team trying to play together, still learning and will get better as the season continues. The ladies cruised thru their first 3 games, struggling alot of the time, and this losing to Lubbock United 4-1 in the finals.
