Cruz Azul 03 girls finished in 1st Place in the Boys and Girls U13 Divisions this summer. Congratulations to all the players that participated this summer..

Congratulations to the Cruz Azul 03 girls, they traveled up to Lewisville to the Bob Wisemen Memorial. The girls played good soccer during the weekend going 4-0. Great Job Ladies…

Hobbs Invitational 2014

Congratulations to the Cruz Azul 03 girls!! Playing in the Hobbs Tournament this weekend, the girls played great soccer and played some good competition, the ladies played up a division (U12) and played some awfully bigger and sometimes faster girls, but we were able to outplay the bigger competition.

The defense played great allowing only 1 goal on a free kick from inside the 20. Our goalie (Kiah) had some great saves in all 4 games and recorded 3 shutouts. Great Job from all of our defenders…

Offensively we moved and passed the ball very good, our possession game got better with each game. The team scored 18 goals in our 4 games….

Thank You Parents for your Team Support… It was great this weekend…

Congratultions to the Cruz Azul 03 girls this weekend for their 1st Place finishes in both the U11 and U12 girls divisions.

The girls defeated Arsenal Red 03, 3-1 on Sunday in route to a 1st Place medal in the 1st Annual Indoor 3v3 Tournament.
Both teams played really hard and they both did a great job….

The girls then played the U12 girls Championship vs Galaxy Fire 02, Cruz Azul lost to them on Saturday 6-4, but were determined to play a better game on Sunday. They came out and set the tone early, playing high pressure defense and not allowing Galaxy to relax and play thier game. After regulation the score was 2-2. Going into the second overtime, Alex won a loose ball and fired a rocket into the back of the net for VICTORY…. It was SWEET……

Congratulations to the Cruz Azul 03 girls, the young ladies finished in 2nd Place this weekend.
After starting out slow and with a loss vs eventual Champion Rio Coyotes (0-2), the girls reeled off 3 impressive victorys.
With no playoffs scheduled the girls had to settle with second place.
Great Job and Thanks to all of the parents.
